Basher the Dog

Up until a year ago when I underwent a hysterectomy, I always thought in the back of my mind what it would be like to have another baby. I still find myself thinking that from time to time, and then have to remember that short of something akin to immaculate conception, that will not be happening. I think that the nurturing feeling never leaves, though, and now my thoughts have turned to DOGS. I know. I can hear my Mom screaming as I type this. But thoughts of sweet Golden Retrievers and happy Labs go through my head and I picture all the pleasant parts about owning a dog.

Then we went to visit my sister last week. And her dog was naughty. Very, very naughty. He chewed (things he wasn't supposed to). He pooped (in the house). Somehow the family iPad ended up out on the lawn with dog slobber on it. He snuck into the house while we were at church and scared the daylights out of my cute niece when she was the first one home. This picture sums it up. He is very cute, but very naughty, and as much as I adore him, he bought me a few more months of dog-less sanity. Thank you, Basher!

haha! That's awesome! Look at that face...how could you resist it? :) I definitely know what you mean Heather we have had some pretty naughty dogs and they remind you why you didn't have a dog in the first place. :)
