A nod to the famous Irish tuber with my delish potato-leek soup, and our favorite bread.
Who says Mormons can't have green beer on St. Patrick's Day??
Beer Bread:
3 cups self-rising flour (yep, it has the yeast already in it)
3 TB sugar
1 bottle beer (O'Douls will do if you don't want the real thing, although they'll still CARD you for it at Fred Meyer.)
Mix together and pour (more like plop) into a greased loaf pan. Let rise 30 minutes and then bake for about 45 minutes (or a little less) on 350. It's not good the next day, so eat it up!
