I was organizing photos on our computer (see what January blahs do to me?) and the further back in time I went the more I was overwhelmed with a feeling of fleeting time. I saw this picture of my kiddos and it made my heart hurt to think about how much they have changed since I snapped this five years ago. They were so little! They both fit on the couch! They were near each other and not shoving, kicking, pushing or insulting one another! They were watching Pink Panther cartoons, which they still enjoy. We still have that couch (best money I ever spent on a piece of furniture). But man, they have sure grown up. I am thankful for little reminders like this to help me enjoy the 'now' and not wish for anything else.
One of my very favorite pictures of Wils. He not quite 4, and rocking his little tiny bike already.

Your kids are adorable and so talented.
OOOH! I was just doing the same exact thing (photo organizing!) and it made me NEED another baby even more. Yours did not help matters- Eliza's sweet cheeks in that picture and Wilson's little self. Love it.
I still have a hard time believing that's not what the kids still look like. I guess they're forever 8 and 5 in my head :)
