I have never been one to follow a pattern (figuratively or literally!) and this is is a typical result of a burst of inspiration for a new quilt pattern...drawn up on a spare preschool worksheet.
Martha Frances never fails to please. We sure love this ragamuffin.

And speaking of babies, I snapped this one of our friend's new little lad. Isn't he handsome! This picture makes me achingly (is that a word?) wish I had newborn to cuddle and smell and nurse and carry around while I pick up the house...Thanks for letting me ooh and aah over him, Cherie!.

Cherie's baby is BEAUTIFUL. I want him so bad. (What I'd really want is one of their girl babies, just for balance and to please Winnie).
