Book Roundup 2011

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time again for another BOOK ROUNDUP! Because I am a compulsive book lender and a poor book retriever, this happens occasionally when I start craving a certain read, search for it on my bookshelves, search for it under my bed, in my car trunk, etc, etc, and then finally, out of desperation, make a plea to my friends and family who may have borrowed it. If you did, I hope you enjoyed it! But please bring it back! As always, no questions asked. You can even make a drop in the middle of the night on my front porch. Our street is dark and we don't have a dog. Thank you in advance!

Wanted:

'The One Who Walked Alone' by Novelyn Price (The saddest love story EVER. Made into a movie a bunch of years ago called 'The Whole Wide World' that has the best movie kiss EVER)

'The Book Thief' by Markus Zusak (How totally ironic!)

'Between a Rock and a Hard Place' by Aron Ralston (seeing all the movie hype has made me want to read it again)

'Winter' by Rick Bass (I got the first edition! I really like it!)

'Things We Lost, Gave Away, Bought High and Sold Low' by Deborah Navas (again...the irony...)

Sorry, I don't have any of them.

Has any one seen my copy of "My Life In France" by Julia Child also the movie that I lent with it, "Julie and Julia".

You were going to lend me the whole wide world book but couldn't find it, so I hope someone gives it back to you so I can steal it and forget I have it.

I was LAUGHING OUT LOUD at the ironic book losses...

All books I haven't read. I know who to come to when I need a good recommendation for reading. :)

If I had any of your books, I would drop them on the porch in the dark just for the fun of it. Of course, the danger would be that someone else would have done the same thing and I would swap my books for theirs...

Katie, Mom has "my life in France" on her bookshelf, Is that yours? I was thinking someone had given her that, but maybe not?
