Mardi Gras in McCall

We made a trip up into the mountains to McCall, a beautiful little town on Payette Lake. We love McCall in the summer for playing on the beach, riding horses, hiking and Ice Cream Alley. We love it in January for the winter carnival. Ice sculptures, sledding hills, boots, hats, scarves and the Mardi Gras parade. (We love it all the time for My Father's Place restaurant, and their fantastic Nut Burger) The drive up the canyon and across the valley into McCall is almost as nice and pretty as the town itself. Check it out if you get the chance!

Did you make Eliza's scarf?? That's so dang cute! This looks fun but I don't know if I could brave the cold like you Colbys do :)

Love Eliza's scarf and those kind of festivals are cold! But a drive in a canyon and traditions would bring me out.

Aunt Sarah made the scarf. She's super knitter!
