Would you like to know the real reason I look forward to Valentine's Day each year? Hint: It has nothing to do with romance or roses. It is because on the day after Valentine's Day Cadbury Mini Eggs hit the store shelves. I love these eggs. Not the gooey, cream-filled ones, but the little crunchy-shelled ones in the purple bag. I'm all for romance and whatnot, but give me these babies any day over an overpriced card and flowers that will wilt by next week.

(Bonnie, do you remember when we used to scrounge up change from underneath couch cushions and floor mats and then walk to the Target in Escondido to buy the tiny bag of these lovelies??! I think I appreciated the treat more back then!)

Mom called me last night to inform me that she was eating some mini eggs. Yum!!!
I walked past them in target yesterday thinking that the longer I resist them, the sooner it will be Easter, less bags to buy etc. HA! I will buy the bag tomorrow who am I kidding
