*We have been enjoying the PBS showing of 'Emma' (even Zane---bonus husband points!). And Mr. Knightley played by Jonny Lee Miller, mmm hmmmm hmmmm. Like Mr. Darcy but with social skills.

*Today felt like Spring. Wilson and I went for a bike ride and then played catch at the park. Everybody was out jogging, biking and playing. From the park we could see plenty of people hiking in the foothills.
*Wilson made up a song today and I so wish I owned a digital video camera so I could post it, although he would never ever sing it for a camera....It recounts an event that happened this week and is sung (roughly) to the tune of something like 'Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer'. It starts out, "I was on a walk and my Dad nailed me with a well-packed snowball. It felt like my eye was bleeding, my gum fell out of my mouth..."
*My cute Grandparents keep a running list of each one of their descendants and their families. They number everyone according to when they entered the family; Grandpa is #1, Grandma is #2, my mom is #3. etc. Every person also receives a number according to which in-law they are (i.e. my dad was #1 for that, but #14 overall), or which grand/great grandchild you are. I received an updated copy of The List this week. I am #16, Zane is #77, Eliza is #88 and Wilson is #114. As my (50+) cousins marry and have children the list grows exponentially. Our family is currently awaiting the birth of the baby who will be #200. Numbers 195-199 were all born last month.
*Eliza and I went grocery shopping tonight. I kind of take pride in my skill of being able to guess how much the total of the cart's contents will be. It's uncanny how good I am. (Yeah, I take pride where I can). And, for the record, I don't keep track at all while shopping. When the clerk started ringing us up I guessed $102. Eliza guessed $98. The total? $102.90. Thank you. Thank you very much.
*I found three ex-7-11s that I hadn't seen before around here for Carly's and my project. Have you seen any lately? Send the pictures our way!

I do enjoy that Mr. Knightley but that Emma bugs me! And Harriet? Only Toni Colette can play such an airhead and make it believable! Still, a very fun January diversion!
I'm laughing about the grocery bill guessing- we do that too! Although I am not nearly as spot-on as you!
I have a couple of really good 7/11, I'll have Laurie go with me and then she can e-mail them to you. I wonder how many 7/11's there were at it's peak?
