*All in one week I saw Cadbury Mini Eggs in the stores, heard a Meadowlark up in the foothills for the first time this year and saw crocuses popping up in my neighborhood. It's hard to imagine that in some parts of our country people are still shoveling snow. But if the Red Sox are in Florida, it must be spring soon.

*My kids think Bob Costas looks like a rabbit. They each said it independent of the other. What do you think?

*Wilson lost one of his front top teeth. It had been hanging for a few days and he was looking stranger and stranger, but he wouldn't let me touch it. I finally convinced him that I needed to 'check' it and I was able to stealthily get a perfect grip and yank it out. He will never trust me again. He looks absolutely darling with the little space in his smile. He is concerned about the one next to it and the two on the other side being loose as well. He burst into tears when he realized what that could potentially look like and how much it could affect his eating habits. *Zane gave me a pass to the tanning salon for Christmas. Eliza was with him when he bought it and he said that after one look inside of that place, and one look at the employees she vehemently declared that this was nowhere her mother would patronize. Zane assured her he knew better. Oh, how right he is. Every March I hit the booths for a couple of weeks and come back to life. I'm dying to use my pass, but am determined to wait a few more weeks.
*Looking forward to a visit from family this week. It forces me to clean out my fridge...and I also kinda like them. :)

UMMMMMM Mini eggs! I wish I had the nerve to go tanning. The last ime I went, the young girls looked at me like I was crazy. Why would an old grandma want to be tan??
One of the most frustrating things about teaching first grade was looking at those "hanging" front teeth day after day and not being able to get my hands on them like I could with my own kids! Way to go mom.
