Happy Weekend

This weekend I had to make Zane get rid of a pair of pants that he loves. They were green, too short and too big. I'll give you a second to get a mental picture...He knows it's because I love him.

Happy weekend! I still love Fridays as much as when I was in school.

Happy summer vacation! The janitor at my kids' school was blasting Alice Cooper's 'School's Out' this afternoon. I had to smile when I saw how many of the kids knew the lyrics and were playing air guitar on their lunchboxes.

Happy rain! Ok, not really, but I'm at least trying to appreciate the free lawn watering.

Our lawn has never looked so good, either!
That said, a nice lawn is the ONLY thing I'm liking about this much rain in June. I am as pale as I was in December. Not a good thing!

Thank you for trusting me with the kids for a few days! It was a pleasure. They are the best behaved, most unspoiled, fun kids. Maybe you noticed from Carly's pix that E. spent sunday (after church,1 hour only!)in her pjs and other such "Pleasure Island" activities like, "Grandma, can I have Dr. Pepper"? "Sure!" at Panda Ex. for the 2nd time in 2 days. Levi was the best help and Carly ws there when not at work so we had a wonderful time. Glad you did too. Feel free to go again!

Your son and Uncle Levi are really good at "star wars" wii. They were in a world of their own. We spent one evening at the table (in your beautiful sunny kitchen!) with one of Eliza's school books reviewing the parts of speech and wondering about certain rules of english. We decided we don't know anything and have really bad grammer and I have the worst Utah accent!!!Ha Ha

I am totally laughing at that picture. That IS my husband, who boldly wears black socks with sandals and shorts that are too short to cover the longer underwear, if you know what I mean. I have to beg him not to go out in public reminding him of his reputation that is on the line. He laughs in my face!
