Ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop...lovely kinds of dances, but I'm sure happy that our Eliza Kate has chosen Irish Step as her dance of choice. What other kind of dance performance could take place on an outdoor stage with bagpipers blasting in the background, dogs running around and families just generally relaxing and enjoying life? We spent the weekend in Sun Valley at the Highland Games there. The weather was beautiful, the music was perfect and the mini-getaway to a nice (free!) hotel with a pool scores high on our list of life's simple pleasures.
