Zane and I returned home from a jaunt to Seattle today. Four days of good friends, yummy food, awesome baseball and a whole lot of sleep. We (I) missed our kids like crazy, and, while it was certainly nice to be a couple again, we (I) don't plan any trips in the near future without Thing 1 and Thing 2! We stayed at the home of my cousin and his family, which we consider a great luxury. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, but their family is the best part. Cute, brainy, generous and gracious. All 6 1/2 of them. Thanks, Justin and Ali! And a huge thank you to my mom, who drove six hours each way to keep an eye on our kiddos. They were in Heaven, and probably didn't notice that their parents were gone. Seriously. Thank you, Mom (and Carly and Levi)!

...everyone was here for this guy

Hope your 50th was a good one, Zane!

Too much fun! Glad you two got to enjoy yourselves. You deserve it!
Hey, turns out you saw Griffey's second to last game. Crazy!
Ahhh. Makes me homesick...
These are such great pictures! Looks like a lot of fun!
I didn't know Merle and Sarah had a baby!!!
We miss you already! Your great eye through the lens of the camera makes Seattle look as great as it really is! Love the pics. Loved catching up with you even more. Come back soon . . . with or without Thing 1 and Thing 2.
