Thumbs Up

Thumbs up to gorgeous Autumn weather and to our cat, Martha Frances. She owns the neighborhood, and everybody obliges her.

Thumbs up to my daughter and her new wig. It has been good for many laughs in the past couple of weeks.

Thumbs up to the Boy Scouts of America, who provide a place for my son and his friends to be BOYS. Nobody telling them to be careful, quiet, gentle or less boy-ish.

Thumbs up to Eliza, who took this pic of her violin. I'm happy she sees art in everyday life like I try to. And she is awesome on this violin, by the way.
Thumbs up to the Wilsons. Brian, because he rocks a wicked beard, and because he looks mean closing out the Giants games. Zane is a big fan--his Italian granddad spend his last years in the Bay Area and was buried in his Giants cap. Fun to see those affections manifest themselves in sports teams.

And C.J., because...well, because he's pitching for the Rangers right now.
'Nuf said. :)

My Wilson isn't sure which t-shirt he should get to sport his name on... A diplomatic boy, that one.

Love that cat. She is the queen of the prettiest street in the east end!

Love the picture of Martha! Cats have that way of just oozing arrogance in their posturing and posing. I am cheering for the Rangers, but I have to admit, the beard on that pitcher is impressive! Wilson looks so handsome in his scout uniform, I want to hear Eliza play her violin next time we are there!
