1. Along with baby Hadley's darling birth announcement, this picture is front and center on the fridge this week. I love baseball and I love this kid. For the record, I need to remember that Wilson prefers to play first base. He's really good at it, too.

3. My sleep-talking husband recently called out for me to "Just SHUT THE DOOR and tell them all to GO AWAY". From a dead sleep. My poor husband. What kind of anxiety is he simmering on the back burner to come up with things like that?
4. I was listening to Eliza practice the piano today and I got weepy as she played a beautiful and pretty challenging piece. I won't spoil the surprise because she is going to be playing it for the recital when school is out, but she is really getting good.
5. Surprises. I know two of them that people in my family will be receiving. I can hardly stand it.
6. I am happy for Prince William and soon-to-be Princess Kate. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a weasel like his dad. Do you think they'll live happily ever after? And, more importantly, do you think Prince Harry will wear a kilt to the wedding?? If he does it will take weeks for my two sisters to compose themselves.
You're welcome
7. Zane got reading glasses. He has needed them for a long time (ever since he couldn't read his book in bed and thought he had a brain tumor) but finally got them. That sounds like an old person thing, but the funny part is, I love them and think he looks handsome with them on. Those sentiments reminded me that we have been married almost sixteen years and made me think of this conversation:
Eunice Burns: I'm not looking for romance, Howard.
Howard Banister: Oh?
Eunice: No, I'm looking for something more important than that. Something stronger. As the years go by, romance fades and something else takes its place. Do you know what that is?
Howard: Senility?
Eunice: Trust!
Howard: That's what I meant.

I like this bulletpoint-style update.
You have to tell me about the surprises for our family! Spill it!
Tell Zane to go ahead and buy 6 or 7 pair of reading glasses because they always disappear when you need them! Love the picture of Wilson!
When Sheri Dew used to speak in the Relief Society meeting I always wanted to jump up and yell Amen!
