Daddy

Zane is a great dad. I'm just going to put that out there. He keeps everybody happy and can be silly enough to embarrass our kids just enough to keep them smiling. Five years ago we went to Yellowstone and Zane got a nasty blister on the bottom of his foot from new shoes. The only other shoes he brought were flip-flops and he couldn't even wear those comfortably so we had to find a pair of thick socks for him to be able to continue walking the miles and miles of wooden boardwalks. This was all we could find, and we paid about twenty bucks for them in the Old Faithful Lodge gift shop. Eliza was only 8 and Wilson was just 4, but they were both adequately embarrassed for their daddy's satisfaction.

Again...where does the time go??

What really blows my mind (besides sock camel toes...can I leaven that in comment? oh well. don't publish it then) is that I remember you guys taking that trip!! Where your kids really that little? I thought they were so big and that you were such a mature mom....HA! You knew about as much as I do now...and it is so disappointing that we don't magically turn into the moms we thought! :)
