Have you ever thought about how life is just really, really hard? Even with a strong belief in a loving and all-powerful Heavenly Father I still get rattled sometimes. Especially on days at the end of the winter when it is gray and just so freakin' cold. (My bones haven't been warm since October.)
A friend said goodbye to a premature baby boy yesterday. He was born months too soon and only lived four weeks. So sad I can hardly stand it.

Another friend has a darling wife, three cute, young kids and a brain tumor. So unfair.
.
So, to look forward, happily, hopefully, and with more strength, pulled up bootstraps, and all that, here are some simple words from one of my favorite people ever:
“We are here in mortality, and the only way to go is through;
there isn’t any around.”
there isn’t any around.”

...and some photos from Spring training, that could make anybody giddy with anticipation of opening day and put a great big smile on my face:

I am sorry to hear about your friends.
Whenever I'm down in the dumps I usually turn to you to cheer me up, so sometimes I forget that you are human and sometimes YOU are the one who needs the cheering. Hopefully you know you can always call me when you're blue and I'll do anything I can for you!
