Here are two people who are able to watch a baseball game go into extra innings without having to rely on tivo! (Aren't they cute??)
My dear little sister cannot seem to get and stay pregnant. There is nothing to say other than it is such a big BUMMER. Everybody has a story, advice, a sure cure. There have been countless prayers, tears, words of encouragement, faith and science. But still, another negative stick this week.
So, instead of another round of insisting that "it will happen"! (which I know it will), and dwelling on the obvious, sad parts of fertility problems, I am going to make a little list of reasons that it is great to be kid-free!
1. Two words: Sleeping In
2. When you have a cold, you get to lie around in warm blankets, sniffling and feeling sorry for yourself. When you have a three year-old and an infant and a cold? Guess who gets ignored.
3. Movies. You get to go to them and finish them. (And you don't have to fork out dough for a babysitter!)
4. Eating out is waaay cheaper. We can no longer eat out any place respectable and get out for under $40.
5. Don't feel like cleaning your house? Much less guilt involved.
6. You don't have to choose between cute jeans for yourself or cute jeans for your 18 month-old.
7. You get to spoil your nieces and nephews with abandon.
8. You get to have an "office". Enjoy it before your computer and bookshelves get pushed to some already-too-small corner to make room for a crib.
9. You can still ignore fruits and vegetables.
10. No stretchmarks.
11. You can continue on in your sassy red high-heels and not worry about dropping an infant.
12. Sex. Whenever, wherever.
13. You need only deal with your own bowel movements.
14. Pre-kid bras are way cuter.
15. You can still sneeze, jump on the trampoline, play tennis and laugh hard without wetting your pants.
16. You don't have to force anybody to practice the piano.
17. Nobody will sit down to your dinner table and say, "I haaaate this dinner!"
So, you see? Maybe it's not all bad for you and Levi to have each other all to yourselves for a little bit longer! :) Right? Right?

Amen!
Carly and Levi-we love you!!
I think you forgot "not having to clean up vomit and diarrhea after a long night of sickness"...
Sorry to hear ~
Heart goes out to Carly!
Thanks!!! This made me cry :)
PS, is there a more unflattering picture out there of me? If so, I have yet to see it LOL!
Thanks for the better pic :) :)
Seriously, this was the sweetest post and it really helps me realize how lucky Levi and I are to have each other (and a decent night's sleep!)
Cary and Levi are a perfect match. Thanks Heather, for being her best friend!! The babies WILL come.
