Shout-Outs

A few people, places and things that deserve recognition, in my opinion.

1. My daughter's fifth grade teacher. This man believes that it is much more productive and realistic to teach all the math AT SCHOOL. He has the wisdom to understand that parents and their children arguing and crying over how to do math that the parent has forgotten how to do anyway is counterproductive. High five for this guy.

2. The Band/Orchestra program at our elementary school. Thank you for saving me a hundred bucks a month for violin lessons! And for providing sufficient peer pressure to keep my daughter motivated!

3. Boise, I-dee-ho. I know, I have bragged about our fair city many a time, but Boise really is awesome. With each changing season, I fall in love all over again.

4. My multi-talented neighbor, Margaret. For being willing to swap piano lessons for Spanish lessons. My kids will be habla-ing espanol before they know it. And they need only cross the street to do it. Fist bump to Margaret.

5. The parents who entrust me with their children for their preschool education. I am always truly flattered that they sign up and bring their kids to my home to be taught. It astonishes me. And my class this year? So cute I could just about die.

Man... wish I lived next to both of you. I could enroll my kids in some piano playing & Spanish. (and yeah... I totally am with you on the "parents that forgot how to do math" thing!)

What can I trade you for piano lessons? Seriously?! Grace needs to start!

I'll bet your pre-school is so fun, I can only imagine the constant entertainment you get and I am with you on the Monday dieting, for some reason I totally feel entitled to sugar on the weekends too, somehow if life wasn't so crazy I'd find some reason I'm sure though...
