I am wrapping up the weekend by sitting down to write a few thoughts. I thought, hmmmm, I could try and describe my sadness at the Red Sox losing to the Angels today. It was over so quickly! It wasn't supposed to end that way. Not that I necessarily wanted to see my favorite boys get walloped next by the Yankees, but still.
Or, I thought, hmmmmm, I could copy and paste a really funny cartoon that I saw this week about Sarah Palin's forthcoming book. But I promised a while back to be nicer, and not use this blog as a forum to make fun of that mavericky gal., but still.
Eliza catching pig flu is an interesting topic to me, but everybody knows the drill by now. Headache, cough, fever and promises to wash hands more diligently. Crossing my fingers for the rest of our family while giving my little girl lots of love.
So, I think I will simply leave you all with a delicious recipe to enjoy instead of all that yuckiness. My sister, Laurie gave this to me, and there is one cooling on my stovetop as I type. Yum! Enjoy!
