Last night we were sitting as a family watching the election results and there came the moment where the commentators said, "It's official. Barack Obama will be our nation's 44th president". I was feeling very patriotic, a little emotional about the whole process, and really excited about having him as our president. As I was savoring the moment, I could feel eyes staring at me. I turned to Wilson and very innocently he said, "You get way more excited when the Red Sox hit a home run than when we elect a new president." 'Tis true, 'tis true.
