P.S.

After a long conversation with my sister, I realize that my post about Prop 8 may have been misunderstood. I hope that everyone who reads this knows that my first loyalty lies with the leaders of the LDS church, and that if they think it was important for the ban on the amendment to be passed, then so do I. I realize that I don't know everything, but I know that when I listen to the leaders of our church speak, as they did last month in conference, then I know they are wise and inspired people who are leaders in a capacity that I respect.
I could go on and on about why I don't think it should be okay for people to climb the walls of the temple grounds and shake their fists at the little old ladies who work in the temples in the name of equal rights, or why I think that people who participate in the democratic process and then get mad that they didn't get what they wanted are missing the point, but I don't want this blog to become divisive or politically charged.
Unless I find a really good joke about Sarah Palin, then I'll post it. :)
