All I'm going to say is that the school-clothes offerings this year are crap. It has actually given Eliza and me reason to bond. And with a tween girl and her mother, this is a good thing.

I agree! Everyone is trying to do the "eighties" but with a ghetto feel to it. They need to just accept the traditional eighties look and it will be loved again! maddie found cute cardigan's at Old Navy. We went all the way to Vagas for H&M, and bit the bullet and went to Nordstorm for shoes (sperry top siders are back...love them!)
I can relate. Katy has given me more than one hug, in public, while we were out buying clothes/shoes. I never thought I'd be thankful to have gone through the horrors of shopping for jeans and shoes that fit my frame back in the day. We are now shopping in the junior section. A lot less tears, for both of us!
